About Heidi

Hello, I'm Heidi.

I've taught and tutored high school math classes for over 35 years. I get results fast!

I am a certified math teacher in Wisconsin, where I live with my husband and two teen girls. After teaching math in public schools and private college for 15 years, I left the classroom when we brought our first daughter home from Ethiopia. During that time, local parents began asking me to privately tutor their high school math students. What began at our dining room table during nap time has turned into tutoring students from all over the country! I've tutored students from over 30 states, 7th graders to college students, in everything from algebra to precalculus to ACT/SAT and even GED test prep. It is rewarding work to see how quickly students can progress with private, individualized, one-on-one tutoring. Anxiety goes down while confidence and enjoyment go up, for the student, and for the parent!  I see this happen over and over on my FREE 25-minute homework help session held over Zoom in the comfort of your own home. Sign up for one by clicking on any blue button on this website.

As a certified life coach and master-level math teacher, I quickly help students gain confidence and skills,  often increasing their scores by one or two letter grades in as little as two weeks.  Sign your student up for a free math homework help session, and see what is possible for your child.  Having someone in their corner, knowing they are not alone, and getting guidance from an experienced teacher and coach can make all the difference.

Hope to talk to you soon.
